Our business started back in 2004 as Funky Monkey Charms selling handmade glass tile charms and necklaces. We enjoyed a successful career and then life got in the way as we spent the last 10 years raising our kids and enjoying traveling all over for sports, but we always missed making crafts. As the kids are older now and upon my retirement from teaching, I have decided to get back to what we love to do with making handmade crafts and working with customers. Our team works flawlessly with each other as we each assume a role . . . Taush (who is still teaching full-time) is our designer and has become quite masterful at painting and finishing our items, I do the hands-on laser cutting and engraving and finishing, while our teen daughter, Keelyn, enjoys doing details on our products and posting on social media (imagine that, a teenager on social media - crazy, I know). In the end, we produce custom, handmade laser-cut wood items that people will enjoy for many years.

Our goal with our business is to bring back the cement goose of years ago, in which families would dress up in clothing and change their outfits. The interchangeable porch gnomes, baskets, and wagons provide that same opportunity for people to have a little fun and put a smile on faces as people approach their homes. Soon, we will be adding barn quilts (used years ago to assist with the Underground Railroad) so that people can add a little more design to their homes, barns, and sheds.
